Update from Northern Mississippi

October 17, 2011 - 10:53am / madison.shook

This past week was phenomenal for the Ole Miss, Mississippi State University, and Mississippi University for Women College Republicans! Many regular volunteers came out to canvas door-to-door and dial numerous constituents, as well as first-timers!

Almost 500 volunteer hours were logged by all three chapters combined, proving a Red November is within grasp for the Mississippi House of Representatives and Senate.

For Vann Branch, Mississippi Senate Candidate in District 10, the Ole Miss College Republicans participated in two separate door-to-door walks. We reached out to numerous constituents, furthering Vann’s conservative message through the Batesville and Senatobia areas. Some of the participants even met Congressman Alan Nunnelee at a rally for Vann on October 10th!

For Chris Brown, Mississippi House of Representatives Candidate in District 20, the Mississippi State College Republicans participated in four large door-to-door canvasing walks! We reached out to thousands of constituents throughout the Hamilton, Lackey, Amory, Aberdeen, and Hatley towns and placed over 200 signs in yards!

November 8th is 22 short days away. Now is the best time to get involved around the country to make this November RED! Will you get involved, or sit back and watch history being made?

I pledge to make this a Red November
