Keeping the tropical storms away!
September 6, 2011 - 7:29pm / ben.waltersThe weather lately has really made things difficult on campaigns in the region but most students at the University of Southern Miss have just kept on going. The first football game of the season was still widely attended although must of the fans were drenched and there seems to be alot of enthusiasm as the second week of school was underway.
With Greeks beginning their recruitment we will plan on running a parrallel and equally successfull recruitment! Millsaps College in Jackson, MS gets the reputation for being a pretty liberal school but this last week they joined the ranks of some of the other smaller schools and community colleges and turned out fairly large numbers in our campus recruitment drives. In addition, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will be bringing the 9/11 Never Forget project to their campus to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the date.
With all of our schools working hard toward success in November, there is no reason to doubt that this will happen
