Dems Out of Touch in Mississippi
October 22, 2011 - 7:23am / madison.shookThis past week, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz graced Mississippi with her frizzy golden locks and loud rhetoric to campaign for Mississippi Democrats & Billy Dupree. She promised Democrats “won’t just win Mississippi next month, [they] will build the road to the White House right through Mississippi back to Washington D.C. and send Obama a second term”.
Excuse me, Debbie, are you sure?
Let’s glimpse back to previous presidential elections. In 2004, President George W. Bush won Mississippi with almost 60% of the vote with 684,981 votes cast for the incumbent. In 2008, Senator John McCain won Mississippi’s six electoral college votes with 56.4% of the vote. 2011 and 2012 will be no different: Mississippi will be red, Debbie.
DWS is obviously out of touch with Mississippians and the infamous Dixiecrat. Dixiecrats & Republicans alike do not want Obama to control the White House for a second term, nor do Mississippians want the current Mississippi Democrats to continue with their liberal agenda and outrageous spending habits, bankrupting this great state. On November 8th, Mississippians will take back their government by voting in Republicans such as Phil Bryant, current Lt. Governor and Governor candidate, Steve Simpson, Attorney General Candidate, Vann Branch, State Senate Candidate, and Chris Brown, House of Representatives Candidate.
Debbie, this will be a Red November, as well as 2012. Mississippians do indeed want change, but not the kind you are offering.
