This past Thursday the Lieutenant Governor spoke at a fundraiser event about the importance of staying connected with the voters of New Jersey.  She gave out her cell phone number to people at the event to show that she values people's concerns and wants to be available to the people of New Jersey.  She told those in attendance, "You pay for my cell phone, you should have my number!" 

There were several College Republicans in attendance.  The Lieutenant Governor thanked them for their hard work and dedication to the Republican candidates running for office this November.  She also highlighted the importance of winning the elections this November so that the Governor can implement his plans for reducing the unemployment rate and ensuring that the College Republicans that have been working so hard this fall can find jobs when they graduate.  Although her speech was brief it was refreshing to see an elected official actually give out her phone number to people that wanted it!
