Operation Red November: The Final Push

Tuesday, November 1, 2011 - 11:58am / leanna.cannafax

Only one week remains until Kentucky's important statewide elections.  For the final push, Victory Centers and local Republican Party Headquarters need your help!  Volunteer to make calls, go door-to-door, pick up a yard sign or bumper sticker --- everyone can do their part to ensure we send a message to President Obama this November.

This past Thursday the Lieutenant Governor spoke at a fundraiser event about the importance of staying connected with the voters of New Jersey.  She gave out her cell phone number to people at the event to show that she values people's concerns and wants to be available to the people of New Jersey.  She told those in attendance, "You pay for my cell phone, you should have my number!"

Dems Out of Touch in Mississippi

Saturday, October 22, 2011 - 7:23am / madison.shook

This past week, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz graced Mississippi with her frizzy golden locks and loud rhetoric to campaign for Mississippi Democrats & Billy Dupree. She promised Democrats “won’t just win Mississippi next month, [they] will build the road to the White House right through Mississippi back to Washington D.C. and send Obama a second term”.

Important Ballot Measures on November 8th

Wednesday, October 5, 2011 - 11:50am / madison.shook

Mississippians have many decisions to make on November 8th. As previously noted, they will be voting for their elected officials, as well as on citizen initiatives, such as the Personhood Amendment (Initiative 26), discussed in my previous blog post. They have two additional initiatives to mark on the ballot, a voter identification initiative and an eminent domain initiative, as well.

Kentucky's Uphill Battle

Monday, October 3, 2011 - 10:06am / leanna.cannafax

We’ve all heard the phrase close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, but the idiomatic expression resonates more soundly with Congressman Geoff Davis (R-KY) than most.  No matter how few votes short you are from winning your first bid for a congressional seat, in the American democratic system, close doesn’t cut it.

I pledge to make this a Red November
